A Brief Introduction to Heart Intelligence
by Mindie Kniss
It is the intention of this work to highlight recent scientific advancements in neurocardiology and explore how new discoveries in heart science complement ancient spiritual wisdom. A critical analysis of heart consciousness research conducted in the fields of psychology, physiology and quantum physics demonstrates that the intelligence of “mind” does not only reside in the brain, but also in the heart. Areas of discussion include the need for a definitive understanding of the heart’s role in physical and emotional health, the evidence of intelligence and intuition in the heart, and how heart consciousness impacts day-to-day life and the world at large. This discourse follows the research of key individuals who are shining a light on this new field of study. All in all, the research is conclusive that the heart is a conscious organ, and that the “heart” of consciousness exists in the middle of the chest.
